Your booking software stays exactly where it is
SalonAnswer sits in front of the diary you already run. Nothing to migrate, no new software for your team, no retraining on a Monday morning.
We describe the level of connection honestly rather than labelling everything "integrated". A calendar connection writes bookings into your system. A native integration is a direct two-way link. Phone forwarding needs no integration at all. We confirm exactly what will work for your setup on the demo call, before you sign anything.
Supported systems
Timely
NZ-built and the most common calendar in Kiwi salons. Bookings are written with the right service, duration and stylist, and your existing SMS reminders keep working.
Fresha
Marketplace bookings arrive online; phone enquiries do not. SalonAnswer covers the callers who ring rather than tap, filling the same diary.
Kitomba
Built for multi-stylist salons where chair, stylist and basin are separate resources. Bookings respect those rules rather than flattening them into one block.
Shortcuts
Long-standing in larger NZ and Australian salons. Calls are captured against the right column without changing how your front desk works.
Phorest
Bookings, client history and rebooking prompts stay where your team already reads them.
Square Appointments
If you take card payments through Square, bookings land in the same calendar and deposit rules are explained on the call.
Google Calendar
Direct two-way connection. Suits solo stylists and small studios who do not run salon software.
Outlook / Microsoft 365
Direct two-way connection for teams already running Microsoft.
Your existing phone number
Works with any NZ carrier. You forward the calls you cannot reach and keep the number your clients already have.
Anything else
Most salon platforms can be connected one way or another. We confirm yours on the demo call before you commit to anything.
What if we do not use salon software?
Plenty of solo stylists and small studios run a shared Google Calendar or a paper diary. That is fine. Google Calendar and Outlook connect directly, and if you run on paper we can capture bookings and send them to you as they happen so someone writes them in.
Will this replace our booking system?
No, and it should not. Your booking software runs your online channel, your client history and your reporting. It does all of that better than a phone agent would. What it does not do is answer the phone. That is the only gap we are filling.
Check whether your system will work
Tell us what you run and we will confirm it on the call, honestly, before you commit.
