The AI receptionist for barbershops

Barbering is volume. Short appointments, constant turnover, and a phone that rings hardest exactly when the shop is fullest.

The problem

Why barbershops lose calls differently

The phone rings more often, for less each time

A cut is twenty to forty minutes. That means more clients, more calls and more interruptions per hour than almost any other trade in this category.

Half the calls are the same question

Are you taking walk-ins, how long is the wait, are you open Sunday, do you do beard trims. All fixed answers, all costing you time mid-cut.

Stopping mid-cut costs you the cut

Putting the clippers down to answer the phone slows the chair and irritates the client sitting in it. Most barbers just let it ring, which is the right call and still costs money.

The fix

Built for the pace of a barbershop

01

Answers the walk-in question honestly

It can tell callers whether you take walk-ins and roughly how busy the shop is, based on rules you set, instead of guessing.

02

Books short appointments fast

No long qualification. Name, service, time, done. The call is over in under a minute because that is all it needs.

03

Covers the Sunday and evening enquiries

People decide they need a cut before an event, usually at night or over the weekend. Those calls currently ring out.

04

Handles the regulars by name

Repeat clients asking for their usual barber get him or his next opening, on your rules.

05

Never interrupts the chair

No stopping, no wiping hands, no apologising to the client in front of you.

In practice

A real call, handled

A shortened version of a call this agent handles every day.

Are you guys taking walk-ins right now?
We do take walk-ins, though Saturday afternoons usually run a wait. If you would rather not queue I can book you a slot. There is a 3:15 or a 4pm today.
3:15 is good. Skin fade and beard tidy.
Got it, skin fade and beard trim at 3:15, that is about forty minutes. Can I grab your name and mobile?
Josh, 021 555 0142.
Thanks Josh, you are booked. Confirmation is on its way by text.
FAQ

Questions we get asked

Can it tell people the current wait time?
It can share expected wait based on rules you set, such as typical Saturday busy periods. It does not invent a live queue number unless your booking system genuinely exposes one.
Will it handle walk-in questions?
Yes. Whether you take walk-ins, your busy periods and your opening hours are all configured at setup and answered instantly.
We are a two-chair shop. Is this overkill?
Possibly, and we will tell you if we think so. Run the numbers on your own missed calls first. If you are only missing one or two a week, it may not be worth it yet.
Can it book with a specific barber?
Yes. Regulars get their usual barber or his next opening, depending on the rules you set.
